We pulled the sprinkler out today for some fun. Macy loved it! She loved running around and screamed with excitment. Charlie, on the other hand, thought it was the worst thing ever and screamed in terror when the water touched him and had a death grip on my leg until I picked him up.

Memorial Day
Seth was asked to lead the prayer at the Frisco Memorial Day ceremony. It was a nice morning with bands, choirs, a WWII vet as the speaker and a military flyover. Here are a few pictures. After nap time we are heading to Decatur for a cookout with Seth's parents. Hope everyone is enjoying their day off!

This Week and the 100th Post
We had a good week this week. We kept Mollie, Seth's parents dog, for a few days, which the kids loved! Charlie got his stitches taken out today. It was much easier than getting them put in. And finally I had a doctor's appointment and everything went well and we scheduled the big sonogram on June 20th at 3:30! So hopefully we will be able to find out the sex of the baby then.

A first...
We spent the morning in the ER with Charlie and a sliced finger. He was playing in our bathroom and sliced his finger on our mirror on the back of the closet door (we didn't realize that it was broken at the bottom). Thankfully, Seth was still here and was able to go with us. Charlie did pretty well with the doctor, although he hated the papus thing they wrapped him in to stitch him up (and not fun for me to watch), the nurses said he really did do good and could of fought a lot more. Six stitches later we are back at home and he is happily taking his nap, he was definitely worn out from all the excitement. I will take a picture of the stitches later tonight, I didn't want to take his ban-aid off for a picture when he was already unhappy. But this at least shows you were it is, on the underside/side of his middle finger. I have a feeling this will be the first of many trips we take to the ER for stitches and other accidents!
Update:
Here is a photo of the stitches. He has been good about leaving them alone, but likes to pull the band-aid off. He was also understandably cranky and clingy, so I put him to bed a little early tonight. Hopefully he will feel better in the morning!

Princesses and Potatoes
This morning at our neighborhood playgroup, another mom gave Macy a complete Cinderella outfit and Sleeping Beauty outfit and tons of play jewelry that her daughter didn't use anymore. Macy loves them and spent the entire afternoon playing with them. Here she is as Cinderella.
Charlie loves any form of potatoes, especially mashed. So tonight at dinner, I put a big spoonful to let him enjoy on his tray and so I wouldn't have to hear "Po!!" repeatedly wanting me to feed him more. After about 15 seconds, this is how he looked, he couldn't get them in fast enough!Thursday, May 8, 2008

Ooooooklahoma
We had a good visit this weekend. It was nice to see everyone and we enjoyed being back in OK. Macy especially had a great time at Mayfair, she definately remembered her old friends and loved getting to play with them. We were also to go to the zoo (my zoo pass was still good, so we wanted to take advantage of it) and to spend the night in Lawton at my parents. We are worn out from the trip, but happy we were able to go!
