I guess I can't blame him, they are liquefied peas.
Continuing on the Vegetable theme. Did you happen to see Oprah yesterday? Jerry Seinfeld's wife was on and she wrote a cookbook Deceptively Delicious, she talks about pureeing vegetables and putting them in regular food that kids like, like chicken nuggets, brownies, stuff like that. I put a similar cookbook on reserve at the library, The Sneaky Chef (Seinfeld's book isn't at the library yet). I definitely would like to try some of the things Jerry's wife talked about. If anyone has tried either of the cookbooks, let me know how the recipes are.

I need to get those books! I made Andrew a quesadilla with baby food squash in it once :)
I saw the segment and thought it was brilliant! It makes me want to puree and cook that way for myself ...
I have the Sneaky Chef. I think I saw it on some daytime show when I was in the U.S. and I knew I had to get it to sneak veggies into Brian's food. (Okay, so I'm not good at getting enough veggies either.) The recipes look good and easy enough, but I haven't tried any yet. I'm still trying to get the hang of cooking in Austria and I haven't figured out how to use my food processor yet. But I will eventually.
Hi Katie,
I have deceptively delicious. We just did all of our puree's yesterday! I put red pepper puree in our chili last night. This week I plan on trying the chicken nuggets, cauliflower, potatoes, and the banana bread! I'll post on my blog how they turn out!
Your kids are so cute!!
