The Omniplex and the darker side of a bark collar

We went to Omniplex this afternoon, we had a nice time and here are a few pictures:

Warning! This next picture is gross. This is what happened to our dog from her bark collar. The little metal prongs that give her a shock dug into her neck and became infected. Poor Bailey.

Guess how much I paid for these groceries...

I will give you a hint, the original total was $12.86.......Give up? Nothing, I was paid $0.87 to take them. Gotta love double coupons!

Random Pictures from Yesterday and Smithosian Museum Day

Thankfully, Charlie is easily entertained. He thought this ring toy on his head was hilarious!

He loves to sit in his Jumperoo toy and look out the back door, especially if Bailey is where he can see her. Notice the runny nose in his one, maybe it means he is finally getting a tooth.

When I was in the kitchen, Macy came running up and said, "Mommy, Look! I am a princess girl!". She "designed" her dress out of packing material. Macy hasn't watched the Disney movies yet, so I think the Princess idea is part of her girl DNA.

Despite her look of terror, Macy loves it when Seth violently swings her around by her feet, hopefully it won't have any lasting damage. On another note, tomorrow is Smithosian Museum Day, if you go to simthsonianmagazine.com there is a coupon that will give you free admission to museums nation wide. Hopefully we will take advantage of the free admission to the Omniplex.

Playing in the rain

When it rains Macy loves to go out and "dance" in water on the side of the road (it's clean isn't it?). So after I put Charlie down for a nap, and the rain let up a little bit, we went out in the front to play. Here are a couple pictures. I just snapped them really quickly since it started to thunder again while we were out there, so they aren't the best and Macy was having too much fun to look at the camera.

I've been Tagged

Thanks to Summer I have been tagged, so here it goes...

1. I have to post these rules before I give you the facts.
2. Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
3. People who are tagged need to write a post on their own blog (about their eight things) and post these rules.
4. At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
5. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

1. I am very thankful that I get to stay at home with my kids. Even after hearing "Mommy, What we doing?" 50 billion times a day, I wouldn't have it any other way.
2. I would of NEVER thought I would of been a preachers wife growing up.
3. I am glad I have been able to nurse Charlie for this long and don't plan on stopping until he is a year, but it feels incredibly physically draining sometimes and I wish that I could have an IV hooked up to me giving me a constant stream of nutrients and fluids, so I would feel more energetic. (Seriously, if anyone knows of a place that does that, let me know)
4. If I could have a super power, it would be to freeze time so I could take a nap whenever I felt like it.
5. My favorite chore is grocery shopping! My least is laundry.
6. One of my favorite shows is Lost and am looking forward to when it comes back on.
7. I am a morning person, I feel I get more done first thing in the morning.
8. I need to finish this and get Macy up from her nap now.

Since Paul and Kim just did a 100 Facts tag, not to long ago, and a few others on my list have been tagged, I just have Elaine, and Amanda to tag. So it is up to you two to continue this!

Triathalon

Yesterday we all went out to Lake Hefner to support one of Seth's old OC friends, Thomas, while he particapated in the Iron Man. Seth and I both agreed that this is something we will never do in our lifetimes. 2.4 Miles of Swimming, 112 Miles of Biking, and 26.2 Miles of Running, yeah, that doesn't sound like alot of fun to us. We were quite impressed with the people that did do it though. We were able to see Thomas as he got of the water, as he finished the biking and Seth went back to see him cross the finish line at 11 pm.

Since we were at the lake, I wanted to take advantage of the good photo opportunity, so here are a few of the kids.

I felt this one best captured the moment, Charlie screaming since I made him stay up past his nap to get a couple pictures and Macy with her finger up her nose.

And finally, check out this freaky bug we saw crawling around the sidewalk. It was probably 6 inches long. How would you like to find that in your shoe?

Decatur

We made a quick trip down to Seth's parents this week. The kids missed Grandpa on his business trip, but really enjoyed playing with Grandma and Mollie (the dog).
