On our own this week...

The kids and I are on our own until Saturday. Poor Seth has to spend the week in Malibu at the Pepperdine lectureships. He was actually asked to lead singing this year, which is an honor, so he is excited. His picture is listed on Pepperdine lectureship website. The kids and I came to Decatur to spend the night with Seth's parents tonight and then we will head back tomorrow to get ready to go to OKC for Mayfair's 50th this weekend. We are excited to return to the Sooner state and to see some friends and my parents.

Well, we are officially insane..

Why? Becuase we are having a 3rd kid! AHHHHHhhh. That's right, I am pregnant. 11 1/2 weeks. My official due date Nov. 4th, but since I have to have a c-section, the baby will be here the end of October. It sounded like a good idea to have 3 kids, but the moment I took the test, I have been mostly terrified. I try not to focus on the idea that we are going to have a 3 1/2 year old, 22 month old and a newborn or the fact that by the time I am done nursing this one, I will have been nursing, pregnant, or both (without a break) for about 5 1/2 years.

We told Macy yesterday and I don't think she fully understands but she seems happy. I am been feeling good, although there were a couple weeks at the beginning that I felt awlful. The doctor says everything looks good and I have had an ultrasound and got to hear the heartbeat. I had great pregnancies with Macy and Charlie, so please pray that we have a healthy pregnancy and baby this time around as well.

We are excited, mostly terrified, but we are excited!

First Trip to the Dentist

This morning I took Macy to her first dentist appointment! She did very good. She was especially excited about getting to sit in a chair that went up and down and to wear a necklace/bib thing. She liked everything but the straw sucker thing.

Pictures from Today

I have been slacking off blogging, so hereare a few pictures from today. Seth is away on a men's retreat, so it has been just the kids and I this weekend. We went to a neighborhood carnival this afternoon (that is why Macy's face is painted) and have just been hanging out at the house today.

Ughhhhh

This was done by a certain 3 year old....

I couldn't save all the keys, so we ordered a new keyboard from Dell. Just a warning, Dell has the worst customer service and they overcharged me and basically have said "too bad, you already got it in the mail, so we don't care and we aren't refunding you." UGHHHH..

Safety Town

The Fire Station here in Frisco has an area called Safety Town, it is a minature town with houses, a church, hospital, etc. Today they were having a safety fair, so we took advantage of the free event. Macy had a good time seeing everything and "driving" the fire truck. Charlie wasn't too thrilled seeing McGruff and the clowns (Macy suprsingly went up and said hi to them), but he still enjoyed it. Here are few pictures from the morning.

Poor Charlie

The kids were playing in Macy's room this evening and Charlie started crying, so I went in to check and him and this is how I found him. Poor guy.

He especially didn't like me taking them out, they were pretty sticky stickers.

Spring Break + Six Flags = 50 Million People

Thanks who Jeremy(pictured below with Seth), we were able to go to Six Flags for free today. He had extra tickets from taking his youth group. It was so incredibly crowded, Jeremy said out of the 10 years he had been coming to Six Flags, that this was by far the worst. After it took us forever to get there in the horrible traffic, we could hardly move anywhere in the park and wait times for the big roller coasters were easily 1 1/2-2 hours (who would wait that long?!). Macy was able to ride a few little kid rides that she really enjoyed. Charlie was not thrilled about missing his nap, but was able to sleep for a little bit in the stroller and especially enjoyed the constant snacks I was giving him to keep him happy.

Even though we are all worn out it was still a fun outting!
